love easton pearson.

If you have run out of wall space to display beautiful, bold art consider enlivening your floors with a rug which is equally striking. My current favourite floor furnishings are from Easton Pearson's Coromandel collection for Designer Rugs. Renowned for their distinctive designs Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson have made a name for themselves in fashion, yet it seems they are equally adept creating beautiful pieces for the home. Referencing the rich culture of India, Africa and Europe, the designs take chintz back to its original purpose as sophisticated floor coverings.

Lydia's eclectic Brisbane home, filled with covetable mid-century pieces, is an ideal backdrop in which to showcase the collection. If you have a photographic memory for stunning homes, you may recall it graced the cover of Vogue back in 2008. I couldn't resist a little retrospective look at it again - enjoy.
